Lawai Beach Resort Condos

It’s close to Koloa’s historic little old town, and just across the street from a small beach with excellent snorkeling. The place is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts. The staff and other folks are nice, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed, with full kitchens.

We barely used the exceptional kitchen, just for coffee, a couple of snacks, and cutting up morning fruit, because there are so many really good restaurants. The lanai was private and enjoyable, and the pool was delightful. Our condo was spotless, with comfortable, up-to-date furnishings. Perfect location for a Kauai vacation. We had the time of our lives.

We’ve been coming for 25 years, usually staying in the Ali'i. The rooms have been remodeled a few times, and rooftop solar panels have been added. Everything is meticulously maintained, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The building’s layout always gives us a cross-breeze, so we don’t need air conditioning. It’s a very comfortable stay, with huge living rooms and decks.

I loved sitting on the lanai with coffee and watching whales breach. There are three pools, a couple of hot tubs, and ocean access across the road, and the location is great. I’d give it a 4 because the roosters start crowing at 2 am and carry on all night.
