Quality Inn & Suites Livermore Wine Country

The location was really close to where we wanted to go, and it was great value. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable we overslept and missed breakfast. Check-in was exceptional.

I stayed here twice while visiting my Mom, who was in hospice. Both times the rooms were similarly clean, modern, and had spacious bathrooms. The first time, Sandie was at the front desk. He was helpful, polite and accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality, Sandie! The front room had a beautiful Mountain View, but cars and people made it noisy during the day, so bring ear plugs if you hope to nap there. On my second stay I asked for a room at the end, and it was quieter. Breakfast had a nice selection: waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels and muffins. It’s close to coffee, winery and restaurants. I’d stay again if I need to come back.

This was not a good experience. We arrived at 11 pm after a long drive in a wheelchair van with a child who uses a wheelchair, only to find every handicapped parking spot occupied. Two cars belonged to staff and had no handicap placards. They knew we were coming because we’d reserved a wheelchair accessible room, but nobody offered to move a car so we could use a space to deploy the ramp. We had to unload unsafely in the middle of the parking lot. Traveling with a disabled child already gives us enough to worry about. This was unacceptable.

The room was spacious and clean, and the washroom looked freshly renovated. For this price point near San Francisco, I think it’s one of the best rooms I’ve had while traveling.
