Comfort Inn & Suites

The beds were painfully hard, and the sheets had blood, hair, and other stains I don't want to describe. The pillows were yellow and old, with no pillowcases, and one bed didn't even have a mattress pad. Both the mattress and pad had stains. There was food, dirt, and a disgusting mess on the floor by the bed and behind the nightstand. The towels had yellow stains, the fan was extremely loud, said to replace the filter, and smelled. The bathmat looked black and moldy underneath. I don't think the floors had ever been washed. There was no toilet paper holder, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were half empty. Everything was disgusting. It was so late that I stayed anyway. Spend the extra $150 and go next door to the Fairfield, trust me.

The rooms looked shabby, the food was inedible, and the hotel had electrical and Wi-Fi issues. We were staying at this Comfort Inn for an Army Ranger Reunion. We were told the price had been lowered by $36 a night, but the bill still showed the original rates. I called five times and was told the account would be credited. It never was. When we disputed the charges, they fought us, and we had to pay the higher rate. They should have honored their word, especially for military men who served their country. We won't stay at another Comfort Inn.

The hotel looked nice and breakfast was fine, but I wish they'd avoid pettiness. At check-in, the only thing they asked was whether we had a pet. Nobody asked how many nights we were staying or how many people were in the room. They didn't ask for photo ID or verify my credit card, and I didn't sign a registration form. Later that night, when I asked for extra towels, the front office hassled me because their record showed fewer people in the room. They never made sure the record was right. If I'd signed a registration, they could at least have made that claim. I admit I overreacted to their pettiness, but that interaction helped me understand why they had 20 recent negative reviews.

We were in and out in under 10 minutes and they didn't refund us. We got ripped off. The room was 82 degrees because the A/C didn't blow cold air. There were used towels in the bathroom, hair all over the floor, and a bathtub full of dirty water. Both beds had a whole colony of bed bugs, not just a few. There was blood, hair, and other stains on the sheets, and the old yellow pillows had no pillowcases. The pool was so filthy, covered in oil and hair, I wouldn't let my dog swim in it. The place smelled of cigarettes and incense, and the housekeeping staff I glimpsed were complete slobs. I will contact the health department tomorrow. One guy working there spoke English, and he was extremely disrespectful. I can't believe this place is operating. Don't stay here. I can't imagine what breakfast is like, probably leftovers from earlier days. The people running the place are not normal.
