The breakfast was okay, with a good variety. The guy working the breakfast nook seemed comfortable in food settings. I’d recommend cooking omelets from scratch if possible. They could have the same size and ingredients, just made from scratch. I didn’t get a chance to swim during my stay, so hopefully the pool experience will be fulfilling if I come again. Pools are a +. The stay wasn’t bad, and having family there made it worthwhile. There seemed to be few staff around, maybe they’re short staffed, but the ones I saw were attentive. Our room also seemed to be missing a bench cushion.

The second bed had mud on the sheets and what looked like a juice stain. There’s only a shower in the bathroom, no tub. That wasn’t a big deal for the adults, but the kids were disappointed. The hotel itself is nice.

The room was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable, and breakfast was ample and available. The shower was tepid at best. The room had the weirdest unusable chairs I’ve ever seen. The pool felt like a small, strange dungeon, was noisy, and wasn’t big enough for us to use while kids were playing. At the front desk, a guy asked me how long Minneapolis had “the Somali situation.” He seemed to forget he was living in a major metropolitan area full of diverse ethnicities. It wasn’t a bad stay.

Easy check-in and convenient access right off the highway. It was close to the Redford theatre, where I came to see a movie screening and spent the night. If they’re showing something, I recommend going if you’re looking for something to do in the area. The room could use a little more deep cleaning, but it was fine overall and good value.
