Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lock Haven

After a car wreck left me stranded while we waited for a rental over a holiday, the staff made a hard situation feel much easier. Sondra greeted us so warmly, and I’ve never stayed anywhere that felt as much like home. Paatyn from housekeeping was amazing, too. Sage was sweet when she checked us in, and after three days Miranda checked us out and helped us find rental places and check their hours. The whole team, from management down, showed so much compassion and kindness. You can tell they love their jobs. I’m grateful they turned an ordinary stay into something extraordinary.

The indoor pool was decent, though the whirlpool wasn’t working, which was a letdown. Breakfast is good and includes real fresh fruit, but the choices don’t change. The hotel really is clean, and I appreciate that. Still, I’d also appreciate getting my stolen money back. The housekeepers clean the room, but they’ll clean you out too, so don’t leave valuables behind.

This was our second year staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites for the State Basketball tournament, and we’ll be back next year. Our game started extra early, so the staff opened breakfast an hour ahead of time so the kids could eat and drink first. They’re friendly, accommodating, and outstanding. The rooms are clean and nice, and the beds are pretty comfortable.

The town was lovely, and the staff were nice, especially Miranda. The rooms were small but clean and nice. Breakfast was awful, and the ice machine wasn’t working. Also, not even one bottle of water in the room?
