Best Western Lockhart Hotel & Suites

We checked out right away after spotting a bed bug crawling across the pillowcase on one of the queen beds. We'd been in the room just 10-15 minutes and hadn't unpacked much, thankfully. We checked in last night for one night, and our room was immediately to the right of the lobby. We showed the front desk staff a photo and told them what we'd found. They just apologized and processed our refund.

The pool was open, clean, and I had it to myself. Our room was clean enough, and the man at check-in was very helpful and accommodating, so credit to him. Breakfast, though, was a letdown. The juices were so diluted they might as well have been water, the sausage was lukewarm at best, and the eggs were very watery. It took three tries to get the coffee machine to dispense anything. This is our first of five nights, but breakfast was a pity.

The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The room was clean, too. I'd definitely recommend it.

Maria welcomed us each morning at breakfast and thanked us for eating there. It was a really nice touch. My wife and I stayed on July 17 and 18, and found both the room and breakfast area very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
