The staff made our overnight stop on the way to FL feel easy and comfortable. I’d checked in advance that the room had grab bars by the toilet, and when a double queen with grab bars wasn’t available at check-in, Tierra at the front desk went out of her way to help us. She was warm and made sure we had what we needed. At breakfast, a kind staff member helped my mom, who walks with a cane and isn’t steady on her feet, fix a plate and get seated. She welcomed everyone. As a travel agent, I notice service like that, and this hotel really stood out for its friendly staff.

Breakfast was hot and good, but the room was dirty even though the hotel was sold out. There were someone else’s dirty socks and a pellet of something I hope was mud on the carpet. The bedside light didn’t work, and the elevator creaked. I was surprised, since the hotel seems fairly new.

Ken was still super friendly at the desk when we arrived at 1am, a great representative of the brand. We had a nice breakfast, plenty of parking, and Dutch Brothers coffee was very close by for a quick fuel-up on our one-night Spring Break stop.

Julia was really helpful and friendly at breakfast, where they had hot options. The staff were welcoming, and our room was cozy and clean. It’s close to the outlet, which was perfect for shopping, and the pool and gym were nice too. I’ll definitely make this my usual place when I’m in the area.

Alysha at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and I was glad they had English muffins and real butter at breakfast. But our shower pressure was so low I wasn’t sure my shampoo would rinse out. We wondered if all the showers were like that. We probably won’t return to Fairfield Locust.
