Hampton Inn Locust Grove

This was my second business stay here. The first time was fine, and I really like the location, but this time housekeeping missed things. Two days in a row, the bed was made but the empty water bottles I’d left by the trash were still there. They also didn’t leave fresh towels even though they could see I was out. The cleaning staff need to tighten things up.

The beds were comfortable, and Jennifer’s hot breakfast spread was the highlight. There were lots of choices, everything looked fresh and plentiful, and the area was spotless and well stocked. I enjoyed all of it, from the eggs and sausage to the breads and pastries. Jennifer was always there when anyone needed something. Thanks for making our stay even better.

We paid $162 for a gross room, and it was hard to trust that the sheets were even clean. The first room’s fridge was packed with old food. In the second, there were handprints all over the surfaces and crumbs in the corners, like housekeeping hadn’t wiped things down. The floors were really sticky, and my kids’ socks turned black just from walking on the rug.

The hotel feels old and poorly maintained, with marks on the hallway walls. Our first room clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, with stuff all over the floor. The second room was clean, but the ironing board was broken.
