The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and they have smoking rooms too.

The place was hard to find, tucked back from the highway between two other motels. The staff were friendly, but the room was awful. I asked for a ground-floor room because of my disabled son. I was told all the ground-floor rooms were smoking rooms, and that she’d give me the “handicapped room.” It stank, though, and didn’t seem equipped for people with disabilities. There weren’t even grab bars in the bathroom. The toilet looked newly installed, but it still leaked, and tools had been left all over the bathroom. Mold ran along the top of the wall, every surface was stained or burned by cigarettes, and the towels were dirty. My wife wouldn’t even go near the tub. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, and there was trash under the beds and dresser. The sheets were clean, but the comforter was disgusting, and the mattress felt like the cheapest one available. There was a table but no chairs. The flat-screen TV had basic SD cable stretched so badly across the screen that it was unwatchable.

The staff are all really polite, and when my air conditioner got noisy, they replaced it right away. The rooms are pretty nice for the price, which is about half what other motels around here charge. The weekly rates are especially good. I’d recommend it if you’re trying to stick to a budget.

The staff were very nice, and the air conditioning worked well, but the room wasn’t clean and the beds were only so-so. I saw a couple of roaches, including one that came out of the refrigerator. Bring your own blankets and towels, and wear house shoes or flip-flops everywhere, even in the shower. Adding to my earlier review: while I was asleep, a bug crawled into my ear and woke me up. My arms and legs were also covered in bedbug bites.
