Angel made the stay feel welcoming from check-in right through checkout. She was kind and cheerful, checked that I had what I needed, and made the whole experience pleasant. You can tell she cares about guests. She’s a big part of what makes this hotel stand out. Thanks, Angel, you’re awesome! 🌟

Angel was patient and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She greeted me with a smile, got me checked in quickly, and was polite and professional while answering my questions about the hotel and places nearby. I really appreciated her help at the front desk.

The bathroom was disgusting, and the toilet trouble seemed to have been going on for a while. My teammate and I were there for two nights last week for work. The toilet kept filling up without flushing properly, and my roommate had the same problem. When I told the front desk, the employee blamed me and said I wasn’t flushing it right. We asked for a repair while we were at work, but when we got back it only worked once. There wasn’t even a restroom downstairs, so we never changed rooms. We were exhausted and had already unpacked. We used the Loves nearby instead. I showered there before realizing in the morning that people had apparently been peeing in the tub. The dirty towel hanging over it was almost black when I put it down, so I didn’t use it. I can only wonder about possible water damage or mold in that bathroom. Someone get Gordon Ramsey over there, they need help. Lol!

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, though there are more substantial options nearby or a 5-10 minute drive away. My room did have a few problems: the toilet ran the whole stay, one shower dispenser had come off the wall, another was empty, and the phone didn’t work. I reported the toilet and dispenser, but declined repairs because I couldn’t wait around and didn’t want anyone in the room while I was out. It seemed odd that they emphasized the toilet was sanitized but hadn’t checked the shower dispensers or amenities. The hotel is handy to the freeway, though this felt more like a place to stay if you have a reason to be in the area than a destination. There’s plenty of parking, and an elevator goes down to the underground garage, but our room key wouldn’t open the elevator back up from there. The stay felt a little pricey for the season and quality. I’d come back if I needed to, hopefully without a running toilet.

The front desk women were very sweet, but we won’t stay at this Lodi hotel again, even though BW is usually our go-to. The room had a lot wrong with it. The fridge didn’t work, and after I closed it, an odor lingered, so we had to leave the window open. The hairdryer was broken too, and I had to go get another one. In the bathroom, the grab bar wasn’t firmly attached, the tile was chipped, and the old tub and fixtures hadn’t been replaced, even though the counters had been updated. Painting over mold doesn’t get rid of it. I’d noticed a kitchen faucet dripping the night before, so after all those issues we chose not to eat the free breakfast. My husband did take a banana, but it was rotten and should have been caught. There was also a pincher-type bug crawling up the wall. We killed it and didn’t see another.
