Budget Inn Of Lodi

The owner-manager was accommodating, respectful, and professional. The place was quiet and comfortable enough for an overnight or two-day stay, and felt like fair value in a safe, peaceful area. Rooms have a writing desk, microwave, refrigerator, and card/dining table. The interiors have been updated with a more modern, upscale look, and the exterior is painted a pleasant blue with white trim. The paint looks clean, though the white trim could use a good scrub to brighten it up. My main annoyance was the heater and air-conditioning had no temperature setting, so I had to keep adjusting them manually. Some ceiling lights didn’t work, and the bathroom fan was either extremely noisy or not working at all.

Rikki was a great host and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful visit. The row of rooms is quaint and very clean, with a large TV, desk, and sitting chair. Being able to park at our room was a major plus. It’s centrally located, close to everything. We’ll definitely stay again. 10/10

The rooms sit well back from the street, so it was quiet. Mine was clean and newly updated, and Ricky at the front desk was helpful and nice. Parallel parking right outside the door made it easy to get to my car. I’d stay here again next time I’m in town.

The room was decent and the property has some nice things about it, but the owner treated us very poorly and was rude. I found someone’s reading glasses on the floor in a corner, plenty of dust around the TV, and bits of wrappers on the carpet. They need to clean better before marking a room vacant. The owner also profiled my colleague and me as drug addicts. I won’t be coming back; the owner made the place a waste of time.
