Best Western Plus Weston Inn

We spent three nights at the BW Plus Weston Inn. The employees were friendly, and the shower had good pressure. The room was clean, the decor was fine for the price, and the Main Street location was convenient. Those are the reasons I gave it three stars. The mattress felt cheap and sat on a platform bed. It was extremely hard and uncomfortable unless you like a very firm mattress. The room also smelled like a previous guest had smoked, and traffic noise from Main Street was ridiculous, so ask for a room at the back. It seemed poorly insulated too, getting cold whenever the heat wasn’t running. I can’t stay here again when I’m in Logan, UT, and I’m surprised it’s designated a BW Plus.

I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub because I have arthritis and we’d been skiing all day. We even confirmed at arrival that we’d have a room nearby. When we went to use it that evening, there was a sign saying it was out of order. I know things break, but I’d hoped they could do something to make up for it. I booked through Expedia, which was apparently the issue. When I asked the woman at the front desk the next morning, she said there was nothing she could do because of that. It was incredibly frustrating.

We come around the same time every year, and this was the worst stay yet. The room was clean and the upgrades since our earlier visits were nice, but the hot tub was cold. The pool room lights weren’t on while we were in there, so we were in the dark. When we asked about both problems, the answer was basically, “I don’t know, I’m the only one here,” with no real help. It’s usually a fine stay, so this was disappointing. Please turn the pool room lights on earlier and hopefully get the hot tub fixed. Thanks for the stay.

We had about six rooms together for a family gathering last weekend, and it was a pleasant stay. The kids spent most of their time swimming in the great pool. Breakfast was hot every morning, and staff quickly refilled anything that ran out. The only issue was the bathroom door in room 211. It was white, with black stains all over the back, and looked disgusting.
