Comfort Inn & Suites Logan Near University

There was plenty of safe parking, and the area felt good. Check-in was friendly, and the room and beds were really clean. The kids loved the pool slide, the pool itself was clean, and the hot tub was nice and hot. Breakfast had a good selection, including sausage patties and scrambled eggs on Sunday. The coffee was the one letdown. It was dark but tasted like coffee-scented water, though that might just be Utah. We made coffee in the room instead. We’ll stay here again next time we visit Logan.

Anna Marie made my arrival easy and comforting. As someone newly learning to navigate life with a disability, I felt treated with dignity and real care, and that support meant a lot. The rooms are clean and welcoming, the town feels like a charming little village, and the staff add something special. Anna Marie was like a fairy godmother. My stay at Comfort Inn in Logan has just begun, but already it feels like a place where compassion and hospitality shine.

The rooms were at least clean. Everything else left us furious. We were charged $300 before arrival even though we’d booked to pay at the hotel. Then checkout brought another $430 charge, and the first $300 wasn’t returned right away, throwing off our trip budget. We chose the place for the waterslide, but the pool only fits about 10 people and has no working bathroom, so families with small kids have to go back to their room for every potty break. The towels were basically hand towels, and when we asked for more, we were told laundry would take an hour or more. Rules were posted all over the facility, with all-caps signs about not running because guests were resting, and there were cameras everywhere. But apparently nobody minded people smoking pot, and my kids were coughing. Pool access required wristbands, even for visiting family. Ours were ruined in the water the night before, and staff almost turned us away, then told us to dig them out of the trash. Breakfast was disgusting. We paid an extra $77 for it, while other hotels offer better food free. Weekend breakfast is advertised until 10, but at 9:30 almost everything had been packed up. When my husband asked for sausage, they said breakfast was done at 10, even though it was only 9:30. I’ll never stay here again and will do what I can to keep others from getting ripped off. I’d recommend the Hampton instead: it cost less overall, had no deposit that wasn’t refunded, gave us free breakfast, let our family swim with us for free, and nobody heckled us. Logan has better places. This one is garbage, and now I have to fight to get that deposit back.

The gym was a nice surprise, with a recumbent bike, elliptical, two treadmills, and other good equipment. My boys had a great time at the Comfort Inn in Logan, UT, especially on the water slide, and they liked the free hotel waffles. Breakfast was decent. At night, outside lights shone through the windows, which made it hard to sleep, and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. I might not come back, but the kids definitely would for the slide and breakfast.
