I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place needs better management. The front desk employees are nice but seem clueless, and we were charged incorrectly more than once. There’s now a fraud investigation with our bank over a random $200 hotel charge. The hotel says it didn’t charge us and has no record of it, while the bank says the hotel did, so it’s being treated as fraud. If you stay, pay cash. The room wasn’t filthy, but it wasn’t clean either. My feet would’ve been black without shoes. There was no smoke detector, just a hole in the ceiling. The room smelled strongly of cat pee, the fridge had mold, and the old bedding was stained and had holes. The shower kept switching from burning hot to cold, and at one point it got hot enough to leave red marks on my skin. I was also bothered that there were no cameras outside the building. We stayed a week, and police visited a room two doors down twice. The TV had a decent channel selection, and the breakfast area was large with nice tables. The price was outrageous, though hotels all over town seem insanely expensive for their quality.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff handled our issue well. Our first room had a strange smell, so I asked for air freshener or something. Instead, he moved us to another room that smelled great. He could’ve just sprayed something and called it fixed, but he took care of us. I’ll come back for that kind of customer service.

The young woman at the counter was friendly and helpful when we arrived, and this review isn’t about her. We had a double queen room and a king with a hot tub, and neither was clean. The king room smelled horribly of cat pee, had hair in the tub, a big chunk missing from the carpet, and a bathroom floor that was stained or dirty. The queen room also smelled, as if someone had tried to cover cigarette smoke. The toilet bowl was coated in dried urine under the seat, the bed was extremely hard, and its bathroom floor was also stained or dirty. We were booked for two nights, but I canceled the second night. If it hadn’t been so late when we arrived, I would’ve left altogether. Next time I find a place like this, I’ll take my chances searching for another room, even late. I didn’t expect a four-star hotel, just a clean one, and this was far from it. We chose it to be near family visiting from another state. We won’t stay again.

I’m in Cache Valley often and regularly stay here. It’s one of the better-run hotels in town. Staff are consistently polite and friendly, and the rooms are clean and smell fresh. Housekeeping is especially great and friendly. If you need a week or longer, the staff are helpful to work with and can get you a good nightly or weekly rate to fit your needs. The pool and hot tub are always very clean and sanitary. Definitely a great place to stay.

For the price, this is good value and a nice place to stay if you’re on a budget. The rooms were nice and breakfast was good. I was surprised they didn’t have complimentary toothpaste. I also had to go looking for a front desk attendant twice, and found them at the far end of the building talking with friends.
