Econo Lodge Eden

We went four days without sleep because a door kept slamming like a car door. I wore earplugs and put pillows over my head, but the women at the desk did nothing about it for days. The office door slammed around twenty times just this morning. When I complained, the owner thought the broken door was funny. I told him it wasn’t, because I’m paying to sleep and can’t. The floors were filthy too. After only a few minutes walking in socks, they were covered in dirt. The room itself was otherwise okay and clean, but I’m not happy. What a dump!

I didn’t stay long. The room wasn’t very clean, and there seemed to be blood on the shower curtain. The non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke, and I saw workers smoking inside the building, including while doing laundry and handling linens. Who knows what you’d find by moving the furniture.

The room was awful, smelled of cigarettes, and had a dirty shower. My best friend tried to shower without touching the water, LOL. I still gave five stars because Felicia at the front desk kindly picked us up from the racetrack when nobody else would.
