The room was awesome, and I loved the layout and all the USB charging ports. The staff were nice and chatty, and I had a good time talking with them. We were visiting home and chose to stay somewhere different this time. Check-in was rocky at first, but the person at the desk fixed it and the stay turned out pleasant. There was no housekeeping on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but the front desk got me what I needed when I asked. They had a delicious hot cocoa station across from the desk. Breakfast was good too. I had biscuits and gravy once, and on another morning there was a cheese omelet and pork sausage, plus cinnamon rolls, muffins, fruit, bagels, cold and hot cereal, diced potatoes, yogurt, chocolate and white milk, apple juice, water, and coffee available 24/7. There’s a workout room, a nice pool with water toys, and a machine to help wheelchair users get into and out of the pool. They also have a room for deaf guests, and the accessible rooms have doorbells. There’s no hot tub, but it was still a very pleasant stay. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was strangely laid out. There was enough space in the bathroom sink area to park a car, but nowhere to set belongings. The closet was in the bathroom, and the fridge balanced on three casters with the microwave teetering on top, away from any counter. The toilet was only 14 inches off the floor, the dirty shower needed scrubbing inside and out, the cracked nonslip floor stickers were sharp, and the toilet paper holder snapped off the wall when I pulled the paper. The whole room felt like what I imagine a Swedish prison cell to be, with hard concrete-looking floors and just a square of dirty carpet under the bed. One problem followed another in our “suite.” The smoke alarm was chirping because its battery needed changing. The desk attendant had to call around to find where the batteries were kept, but eventually changed it. When I turned down the bed, I found yellow stains on the fitted sheet. I went back for clean sheets and someone to change them, and also got one to cover the dirty, stained sofa, which we didn’t want to sit on. The young woman at the desk was very nice and apologized over and over. She said she was the only one on duty and would change the bed, so we changed the sheets together. I was happy to show her how to put on a duvet cover. Holiday Inn people, all employees should be shown how to change bedding. The room was surprisingly quiet and we slept, until someone upstairs turned on the water. Then the pipe banged and clanked like Jacob Marley’s ghost, and the hard, uncarpeted floors made every clomping step loud. That was it, we got up and left. The girl at the desk offered 10,000 Holiday Inn points and a free snack. I have no idea what the points will do for me when I’d rather sleep under my car than return here. I checked the snack, and it had expired in November 2025. Cripes! svensk prioncell

It was our first time staying here, and the grandkids were happy with the room, pool, and breakfast. We’ve stayed at ten hotels and had never seen chocolate milk at any of them. The price made me happy, and it’s nice and local for us in Random Lake. We’ll be back.

The manager, Heba, provided especially good customer service. The rooms are very neat, breakfast has lots of choices, and kids will enjoy the pool. It’s a great place to stay with children, just 10 minutes from Sheboygan’s main locations. Highly recommend it for the customer service.

We stayed for three days while visiting family for a funeral. The place was clean and neat, and breakfast was good with plenty of options.
