Quality Inn Logan near University

Breakfast had good choices and everything tasted fresh. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay at Quality Inn and would definitely come back.

For the price, this was a pretty good stay. The hotel is about what I’d expect from a two star place in this range, and I thought the breakfast was good, even though some reviewers didn’t care for it. The pool was chilly for just hanging out, since it’s kept at competition pool temperature, and the TV in room 223 had a line down the screen. There also aren’t any hidden cables to the front desk access point, so the building could use some improvements. What bothered me most was the missing hot tub. Past pictures, the Google summary, and signs saying “Pool and Spa” made it seem like there was one. You can see where it used to be, but it’s boarded up now. They should communicate that more clearly.

We were disappointed to find there was no hot tub, since it seemed to be advertised as having one, but that wasn’t the main problem. The water wouldn’t get properly hot. I tried showering around 8 am on what didn’t seem like a busy weekend. I’d seen an earlier review where the owner said to let it run for 20 minutes, so I did, but it still stayed cold. My husband tried about an hour and a half later; it warmed a little, then went cold again. We were put in a handicap room, where the showerhead points straight at the curtain and water gets all over the floor. The shower chair also had poop in the visible crevices, though I didn’t use it. Seeing other reviews, I’m not sure anything will be done, so I don’t know whether it’s worth mentioning at checkout. We’ll stay somewhere else next time.

The staff were friendly and great to work with. I had trouble arriving on time for a move I was making, and they helped me through it at every step. The rooms and whole building were clean and nice. Definitely a great place to stay.
