Jackie made my stay at Budget Inn feel comfortable from the start. She was warm and attentive, got check-in done smoothly, and took time to answer all my questions clearly. Her kindness and professional attitude really stood out. I’d gladly recommend this location, especially with her at the front desk.

I had no problems during my stay, and I didn’t see any bugs, whatever the negative comment about them came from. The place is peaceful and genuinely clean. Housekeeping came every other day when I asked, and I always got fresh towels and essentials. Instead of bar soap, they have dispensers with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There’s a microwave, stove, fridge, coffee maker, and the TV connected to the internet so I could watch Netflix. It books up fast, so don’t wait around.

I already wrote a detailed Yelp review, so this is the shorter version of what happened at Budgett Inn. I gave you plenty of time to contact me with the acknowledgment, respect, and apology I believe I deserve. The incidents involved employees and, as I understand it, people related to the manager who did not work there. The latest problem was roaches in my room. I found my dog playing with one, then she started scratching obsessively. I took her to an emergency vet and paid almost $400 out of pocket because she reacted to the egg larvae. When I brought that to the manager, she, her son, daughter, and their father were hostile and disrespectful. The father insulted me and confronted me in front of my 7-year-old. They called the police and told dispatch and the officers I was being combative. I began recording for my own safety and as proof because that was completely wrong, and they were the ones attacking my character and my parenting. I was told the rooms had been fumigated, but none of the rooms had been treated during all the months I was there. They denied having roaches and got defensive, refusing to look at my photos. The manager has several nonworking cars parked at the property, and a whole storage trailer there. The ice machine did not work the entire time, even though every room had an ice bucket. I was financially tapped after the emergency vet bill and had to stay in that room after being lied to for two days about availability. I wasn’t refunded. My dog, who is only 3lbs and extremely small, had to sleep in the car so she wouldn’t have another attack, and it affected her horribly. After I showed the officers the proof, one said, “GROSS”. They offered me personal and legal advice. Since then, the manager has allegedly talked about me to other motels and employees and told them not to rent to me. A very reliable source verified that information. The behavior of the motel’s “employees” was unacceptable and unprofessional, though not surprising. Owners, how are the room conditions and your staff’s ignorance supposed to help the business get anything but negative reviews? To you I may be a guest with a complaint, but I have solid proof of what’s happening there, and the state, public, and BBB should know. You’re choosing to turn a blind eye to these activities and accusations. That’s not surprising, but it is a little disappointing. Your manager couldn’t even get her ignorant, disrespectful son to be quiet after I asked him repeatedly. Then her Short Man Syndrome Ex chimed in to insult me, along with whichever daughter was there, who thought she could stare me down and join her brother and father in threatening me with the police, as if I’d withdraw my complaint. You have video of the whole verbal attack. Not contacting me makes it seem like you hoped I’d get over it and move on, or simply don’t care because you condone your manager and her clan’s behavior. We’ve been at Budget inn since Nov ,2025, and spent the holidays in a spacious room with great lighting. It had air conditioning and heat, which was a real plus on hot or cold nights. The room felt like a studio and had a clean, no-smoking environment, parking, and enough space to cook meals. It made me feel at home. Housekeeping was polite and respectful, and did a wonderful job keeping the hotel clean. I’m grateful for all the work their team does. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and respectful too. They helped whenever I had questions and let me extend my stay without delay. Thank you so much to Ms. Luisa.
