The room was large and the price was low, but the furniture and carpet are badly dated, the pool never seems to open, and the key cards sometimes fail. We asked the woman at the desk for clean towels on our third day at 9 a.m. She said it was too late in the day, even though we’d gotten towels around that time the day before. When we pointed that out, she blew up and asked what our problem was and whether we were calling her a liar. She said she was the manager, and was rude to us for the rest of our stay. We ended up leaving early.

The receptionist was kind and helpful, but that was about the only good thing here. I booked two nights and left after the first, moving to the hotel across the street. I felt uneasy before I even got to the room. The receptionist was behind safety glass, and when I drove around back as instructed, people were standing in the shadows outside. They weren’t smoking, just standing there, and I worried my car wouldn’t be there in the morning. Inside, the hall walls were dirty and the carpet was filthy, including up the stairs. In the room there was no remote, a broken light switch, no coffee maker, just one washcloth and hand towel, stained furniture, cigarette burns on the blanket, and a dog barking outside all night. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet. The receptionist brought a remote from another room when I asked. It worked, but was sticky and caked with grime. I tried cleaning it with soap, water, and a white washcloth, which turned dark gray. The place felt seedy, dirty, and loud. I won’t return or recommend it, even for one night. Stay somewhere else.

There’s no elevator, and the pool and gym have been closed since COVID, which is ridiculous. The room is a decent size, but it was very dusty and hadn’t been cleaned well.

July 2025: don’t stay here. The indoor pool and gym are off limits, and the place is dirty, ragged, and outdated. There were roaches and things like the shower handles and TV didn’t work. Staff seemed uninformed and dismissive, and the manager was condescending and unhelpful. Spend the extra $10 for somewhere worth the money.
