The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, tasty and filling. Our room was clean and convenient, and although the street was somewhat busy, blackout shades helped with the noise while keeping the room feeling private. It’s a great room for the price, and I’d recommend staying here.

My sister and I shared a room for a weekend visit with family. The beds were comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast wasn’t great, and the small dining room was crowded, but it gave us enough for the trip home. Food wasn’t our reason for booking, though. I took off stars because the front desk said our room number loudly while a man was standing behind us. That made me uneasy. I’m used to hotels writing room numbers down for safety, though I don’t know this hotel’s policy, and maybe the person at the desk simply made a mistake. I’d book again, but if saying room numbers out loud in front of strangers is their policy, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Stores and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot, and the price was good. The building looks like it’s been completely renovated recently, and my clean room seemed set up for an extended stay. The bed was very comfortable. I’m not keen on rain-style showers, and a few minutes after I showered there was a loud noise that I assume came from the plumbing. That was my only issue.

The breakfast was good, and despite the hotel’s exterior, I was surprised by how clean the room was. Still, there’s a lot that needs improvement. Staff texted that I could check in early for a $50 fee, but when I arrived, I waited outside for over an hour while staff had apparently “left for lunch”, according to a poorly written note taped to the door. Housekeeping will swing upon the door without knocking even when there’s a do not disturb sign. Staff are hard to find and oddly combative when they do show up. If you ask for fresh towels, be ready to wait over an hour, and don’t count on the front desk answering the phone unless you get lucky. It’s not a bad option, but there are much better places available. I’m honestly surprised it’s still in business given the way they act. Stay here only if you must, and consider looking elsewhere if you can.
