Dawson at the front desk was the bright spot, helpful and professional. The room itself was acceptable, but housekeeping didn't match what I was told at check-in about daily service. Sometimes as many as four days went by without it, and when I asked, I was told service might not be possible. For trash, they told me to leave it in the hallway. There wasn't a bin near the side door where I parked, either, which made the setup inconvenient for me. The front desk was often unattended, with no bell or sign. Breakfast lacked quality and variety. I travel for work and had just spent three months at another hotel, so for what they charge, I expected more.

I spent about two hours in the room, then checked out and went across the street to the Hampton. I paid $150 for the night, but the room was too cramped, especially with the rollaway bed they gave me, which had an inch-thick mattress. I had booked a king and needed two queens, but they refused to switch the room for any reason. I didn't even ask for a refund because I figured there was no chance after they wouldn't change it. I tried Fairfield because the Hampton Inn across the road had construction and a closed pool. I won't ever stay here again.

The pool was pleasantly warm, and I appreciated having oat milk. The room and bathroom were clean and nice, and the standard breakfast was good.

The staff were excellent, especially at the front desk, where everyone was very courteous. This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a Marriott, so what's not to like?

Getting there was a little tricky, but the rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was good too.
