Quality Inn London North

The pool rules were all over the place. One employee said kids had to be at least 15, another said 18, and then someone threatened to call the police on a teenager who looked around 15 or 16. It made the area tense and unwelcoming. Breakfast was awkward too. We arrived about 9, with breakfast meant to run until 10, but the staff member started unplugging things and cleaning while we were still serving ourselves. She spent most of the time playing games on her phone, tapping her foot and watching us, so it felt like we were being hurried out. The whole hotel seemed poorly kept and dirty. Walls were stained, our door was damaged, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. A lot of the electrical outlets and fixtures didn't work. The TV wouldn't turn on, the hair dryer was dead, and the microwave and fridge weren't working properly. The electrical setup looked unsafe, especially with children along. I wouldn't recommend this place, particularly for families.

We came with two other couples, and the staff let us use the breakfast area to play games. The staff were very friendly, and the beds were comfortable with good quality linens. It's pet friendly too. This is a good option if you want somewhere affordable, basic, clean, and quiet. It was sold out while we were there, but still quiet. We've stayed at a lot of Quality Inns, and this one felt a little less luxurious than many, though it was still good.

8/30/25 If I could rate this lower than one star, I would. My son and I arrived and found the AC wasn't keeping the room cool. The woman at the desk moved us to another room reluctantly, and there was a bed bug crawling on the bed. I have photos and video of the nasty little thing. We went back to say we weren't staying and explain why, but the desk woman, Kris, acted like we were lying. I told her to go look for herself, but she wouldn't. She refused to refund us. We waited in the lobby for an hour, or what felt longer, and by then it was late. She didn't seem to care that we needed somewhere else to sleep. We finally left to find another hotel in London, Ky. Having to deal with this over Labor Day weekend while spending time with my son was terrible. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

We arrived at 7 pm and there were two rooms available. They were clean, the staff were great, and breakfast was just enough. Everything went well.
