The hosts even made time for a fire after my wife asked the evening before, then joined us to enjoy it. We booked at the last minute for one night away for our 24th anniversary, and the place was beautifully maintained and wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was lovely, too. There’s also a small event center at the front of the property, with different uses including scheduled murder mystery dinners. If you’re after a peaceful escape, this is a good spot.

The grounds are roomy and carefully kept, and the owners were kind and attentive. I had a lovely weekend here, with a comfy bed, a great shower, and an amazing breakfast. It was so peaceful.

The wildlife and walnut trees were fun to see, especially the grumpy groundhog under the bridge. He’s clever and sassy around the squirrels. We left feeling spoiled and happy after amazing food, in very clean rooms. The property is well manicured, and the hardworking owners were professional. It’s a wonderful place to relax and reset from a busy life.

The grounds are picturesque, and the accommodations and breakfast were wonderful. Walnut Waters Bed and Breakfast worked well for a 4th of July weekend away with my spouse. It’s also close enough to Lees Summit to go out on the town. Would recommend!

We spotted a deer along the trail, and the lake was beautiful, with clear enough water to see the fish. Our two-night anniversary escape from the city was peaceful and wonderful. The food was flavorful, and Rebecca & Karl were friendly, kind, and easy to talk to. We can’t wait to return!
