The pool was clean and a lot of fun. Really good hotel.

The nightstand lamps didn't work, and the shower pressure was low. The person who checked us in was friendly enough, though not especially enthusiastic. The property looks clean and seems to have had some updates, but it's still an older motel and didn't feel remotely luxurious for $350 a night in a popular area. We stayed Saturday night with our family and found spiders and roaches in the room. No one was at the office Sunday morning when we tried to reach them before leaving early. Afterward, Matt acknowledged the problem and said they knew about it and had sprayed three times in the past month. He said it was part of the area and out of their control, which wasn't reassuring. They've made some effort to improve the place, but the pests, maintenance issues, basic amenities, and price left us with mixed feelings. It might do for a no-frills stay if you can accept the flaws, but keep expectations in check.

The staff were friendly, and I loved the bathtub. We spent the weekend in these really cute, very clean cottages. It's quiet, has a great vibe, and is very close to downtown.

We couldn't plug in our phones beside either side of the bed or anywhere in the bedroom. Worse, after a friendly check-in, we found the refrigerator covered in mold, which made us question how clean the rest of the room was. When we went over to report it, they offered either a smaller room with no discount, even though we'd paid $350 for our suite, or a checkout without paying. It was a Saturday evening in April during spring, and we couldn't find anything else on such short notice. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Buyer beware.
