Best Western Plus Frontier Motel

The interiors are upgraded and still feel new, and the hotel was nice and quiet. The mini-fridge is unusually small and pretty noisy, though. Breakfast is included, which is good, but the scrambled eggs are always cold. They need a better warming tray to keep the food hot.

Ask for a room away from the busy highway, or bring earplugs. Aside from that, this motel was just right for our short stay in town, and I can't wait to return. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with a huge flat-screen TV and handy basics like a hair dryer, iron, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. The bed was firm and relaxing, with plenty of bedding and an extra blanket. The breakfast buffet starts at 6 am and has scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, fresh pancakes, bread, muffins, spreads, several cold cereals, juice, milk, and other drinks. A breakfast like that could easily cost $40 for two elsewhere.

I've stayed at more than 100 BWs across the country, and this one ranks among the best. The view of Mt. Whitney was beautiful, and having breakfast with that view felt special. My wife appreciated that the building was single-story, so we didn't have to carry luggage up stairs. I liked having reserved parking near our room. Big thanks to Dylan and Ronnie for making check-in smooth.

After busy days out, it was nice to come back for a hot shower and a comfortable bed. The free breakfast made mornings easy: coffee and a bite on-site, then off for the day's adventure. There are plenty of places to explore, including Death Valley, Alabama Hills, and Lake Crowley. I've stayed at BW Frontier Motel twice and already have another reservation, so I've clearly enjoyed it. The staff are sweet and welcoming, from my late-night arrival and check-in to breakfast and check-out. Rooms are clean and spacious, with the practical basics I need: a comfortable king bed, fridge, microwave, and fast Wi-Fi. Perfect vacation.🤩
