Hyatt Place Denver South/Park Meadows

The biggest drawback was the elevator situation. Only one was running during a hockey tournament, and it was slow, so people backed up and packed in to get upstairs. The rooms, though, were updated, with larger TVs and an easy HDMI hookup for a computer. They also had microwaves in every room, which I appreciated, since I haven't seen that in some newer Hyatt Places. The shower got hot quickly and had good pressure, though the space getting to it was tight. The pool was clean and well kept, with just the right temperature. Breakfast was good when I got there early, but later the kitchen worker was overwhelmed by the hockey crowd. I also liked the desk placard listing times and amenities, and the AC kept the room comfortable. For a Hyatt Place, this is one of the best I've stayed at so far.

Having a couch in the room helped a lot while I was recovering. I could relax somewhere other than the bed, which made the stay easier during my surgery trip. The staff checked in on me after the procedure and were kind in a way I really appreciated. Deryck, Victoria, Chris, Liz, Monica, Leila, and Annie all went above and beyond, and housekeeping made my bed each day. That was honestly my favorite part and made me feel cared for. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, and there were lots of nearby places to eat. I couldn't have asked for a better stay at Hyatt Place Denver South/Park Meadows, and I'm very grateful for the support.

We spent six nights here on a golf trip with three friends. The rooms felt a little small for what we needed, but the staff were attentive and friendly, and breakfast was hot every day. I'd give the breakfast a solid B. All in all, a good stay.

Victoria and the staff made us feel welcome and kept going out of their way to handle our requests. At breakfast, the team regularly checked that there was enough food for everyone. The location worked well, with shopping and dining nearby and two major highways for getting around. Good value for sure.
