The cabin looked new and was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I also liked the jacuzzi, and customer service was good. But the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, and the toilet was wobbly. Wi-Fi was awful: the TV had to buffer for several minutes every few minutes. The place is close to the water and restaurants, but there isn’t much else to do around here.

We stayed two days. The room was clean and good, though it wasn’t cleaned on the first day. That wasn’t a big issue, but I noticed it. The inn is cozy and close to trails, the beach, and the strip. Two people kept knocking on our doors at 4 and 8 in the morning and woke us up. Their misunderstanding wasn’t really the hotel’s fault. Would I stay again? Most likely. I’m not opposed to it.

The bay and harbor view was the highlight for me. Waking up to boats in the distance and the sound of the water made the mornings memorable. We were visiting family and friends, and The Westport Inn worked well as a comfortable base. Its harbor location would be especially convenient for a fishing trip. The room was clean, which matters a lot to me, though the bed and furniture could use an update. They weren’t so worn that they spoiled the stay, just a little dated next to newer places. It isn’t a luxury hotel, and you can tell the building is old, but the owners have made updates while keeping its classic coastal inn charm. It turned out to be cozy and reliable, and I’d come back.

We had a warm, cozy room with one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in. From the room we could see the marina and the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Looking forward to coming back this spring.

Check-in and checkout were really easy, which we appreciated while traveling with our dog. The room was clean and the location was good. There isn’t much insulation, though, so you hear a lot of what’s going on around you.
