The location is handy for restaurants and other attractions, and the remodeled rooms are spacious, clean, and nice. No complaints from us.

Becca and the whole staff were so friendly and accommodating. We spent a week here with our dog in an extended stay suite, and it had everything we needed. Thanks!

We came for a wedding and found a cute hotel with nice design, a comfortable bed, and an appealing layout. The breakfast was a really good service, with active cooking and plenty of choices, so being late didn't mean missing out. Those positives are the only reason I wouldn't give it five stars. The place was unbelievably dirty, the dirtiest Sonesta I've stayed at and the dirtiest hotel I've ever used. Wrappers, spider eggs, and spills were around the windows and bed, and the walls had marks in different colors. Cigarette smoke came through the bathroom vents even though people were meant to smoke outside, and they tried to cover it with heavy perfume. Luckily there were no bed bugs, but with things this dirty, who knows. The iron and ironing board were missing even though there was a plastic holder for them, which was a problem for a wedding. They also put a $300 cleaning and maintenance hold on us for two nights, which I hadn't encountered before, especially at such a dirty hotel. At check-in, an unknown person with an address in Bangkok had been approved as an additional guest on our room. Staff said our profiles had been assigned incorrectly and that billing wouldn't be affected, but I was concerned about who might receive copies of our receipts and card details. It felt sketchy. I'm disappointed to have had such a bad stay at a chain I've usually liked, and now I'll think twice about booking with them.

The hotel looked cute from outside, and the kitchen seemed to have been remodeled, but the room still had old parts and smelled strongly of animals and cigarettes. We asked to move, but there were no other rooms available. Since we'd booked through a third party, we couldn't cancel the second night and had to put up with the smell. After 8 p.m., arriving guests have to wait outside for someone to unlock the main doors. The walls are very thin, and the gap beneath the room door makes it sound like people passing by are inside your room. The smell was the worst part.
