We didn't end up staying because we needed a microwave in the room. Still, the hotel and the front desk left us with a really good impression. The lobby was impressive, with a couple of fuss-ball tables and a coffee machine, and the location was nice. The front desk lady was courteous and incredibly helpful. We had reservations at another Hilton property, and she went out of her way to cancel this booking without a penalty. One of the best front desk staff I've encountered. I'd recommend the hotel if you don't need an in-room microwave, and we'd come back when we don't need one.

Good location, a nice clean room with a minimalist feel, and a good breakfast. But I had to track down clean towels, and the room wasn't cleaned on the schedule printed by the hotel. I was told repeatedly that the manager would get in touch, and she never did, even after I reached out. Terrible customer service.

We booked again because our family loved this place a few months ago. This time, the pool table was gone, the breakfast area was cut in half, and there wasn't a friendly breakfast attendant. It really changed the experience for us. The pillows were flat and cheap, and the blankets were thin and crinkly instead of plush or warm. Then the power went out completely, so half the breakfast wasn't available. We're shocked it went from a wow stay to an ordinary or worse hotel visit. Ugh, we'll have to rethink family stays here.

Snow removal was prompt, including along the walkways, and breakfast was on time with tasty premade omelets and plenty of other options. The Lavazza coffee, tea, and hot chocolate with toppings, even whipped cream, were available around the clock. We stayed during the season's first snowstorm and had a great visit from check-in through checkout. Kimberly at the front desk was friendly and professional, took extra time with our special requests, offered an early check-in, and even texted us an update beforehand. Cecilia was also super friendly during the day and gave local recommendations. Our clean, tidy double room had plenty of clean towels and soaps, a clean mini fridge, and a nice mountain view from the fourth floor. We used the gym, where the equipment worked well and the free weights, bench, and fresh towels were clean. Two large windows brought in natural light. The pool was bright and clean, with windows all around. It had the usual strong chlorine smell, but the water was a good temperature on a cold day. The one improvement I'd suggest is the elevators: it seemed only one of the two was working, and it was slow, though manageable. We enjoyed our stay and have recommended the hotel to local friends and business partners.
