The neighborhood looked a little sketchy when I first arrived, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the rooms were impressively clean, which matters a lot to me, and the staff were super friendly. I even felt comfortable walking by myself to find food during the day. I stayed one night before my Carnival cruise, and it was far cheaper than the other options in the area. I’d definitely stay again.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back. We spent two nights here for a convention, and the price was very affordable and competitive for the area. The room was large, beautiful, and extremely comfortable, with a large shower and bath, large TV, strong wifi, fridge, and microwave. The location made it easy to walk to the beach, convention center, aquarium, and nearby restaurants and businesses. The front desk staff were kind and brought us any supplies we needed.

The rooms are basic and the beds are okay, but I liked the staff. It’s the cheapest hotel in the area that’s actually clean. We used the city scooters to get around, which was really convenient.

We rode in on our bikes with my wife’s seizure service dog. The room was updated and very clean, the staff were friendly, and the bed felt just right for us. We own three short term rentals and were impressed by how carefully they clean. After ten years of cleaning our own rentals, we know where dirt and hair hide, and the Beach Inn staff know those spots too. Well done!

A clean, good sized room in a solid location, with most places about a 10-20 minute walk away. It was a little noisy at night, though so were most places in downtown LA. Worked perfectly for a short stay.
