Hilton Long Beach Hotel

I was in town for a work conference and had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location made it easy to get around. Staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive from check-in onward. They also offered free shuttles to the pier and surrounding areas. Maria C, one of our drivers, was amazing and suggested places to eat and explore. Shoutout as well to Alex, who drove us to the Harbor Cruise location on our last day and was very friendly. And the complimentary souvenir ducks to take home were a fun touch.

James was fun to listen to, and I enjoyed learning about the Cabernet wine served during happy hour. My room was spacious and very comfortable, and check-in was quick. Parking was the one drawback: the lot was full, so I was sent to an overflow lot. It was a short walk from the hotel, but finding it meant driving around the block for 5-10 minutes. There wasn't much signage, and I circled twice after missing it the first time.

I think I'm a Hilton stan now. They were fully booked and swamped with back-to-back conferences, but the service and attention still made it feel like the whole hotel was going above and beyond. Free water bottles, fantastic valet, and a free shuttle to the convention center were just the start. Their text support is a dream for Millennials and Gen Z. Introverts rejoice! Shoutout to Esmeralda, Kianna, Lawrence, Janelle, Sidney, Rod, and Maria, plus the front desk team keeping things running day and night. Valet is $40 or self parking is $35 per night. Not bad for downtown Long Beach, less than a mile from the convention center and waterfront.

Chef Fabian was the highlight of our stay before the cruise. He was sampling fresh pasta in the lobby, and I got hooked. When we had dinner at The Loft Restaurant on site, he kept the great food coming: amazing chicken wings, perfectly cooked pastas, delicious soups, and a wonderful dessert. He's the coolest guy I've met in a while and a monster in the kitchen. Big thanks too to Zoe for great service and conversation. We stayed two nights and had a great experience. Although early check-in wasn't promised, they got us into the room very early compared with the usual check-in time. The room was very clean and the beds were soft. Thanks to the entire hilton long beach staff. We'll definitely be back.
