Super 7 Inn

The room was decent enough and fairly clean, and they changed our towels every day. That was the only real plus. We booked a week because the hotel was close to work, and since we prepaid, we felt stuck there. We were on the first floor, where about six kids, the oldest around ten, ran, jumped, and played with balls every night from 7 until 10:30 or sometimes 11. Once, they banged on our door and windows for about three minutes while we were trying to be intimate, with no parents in sight. Another day they were grilling BBQ right outside our room; smoke filled it, and even with the AC off, it kept coming in. The toilet water smelled like sewers, or maybe it wasn’t cleaned properly. The bathroom door was so broken it wouldn’t close. The front door also took a hard pull to shut, and the security lock didn’t line up with the frame. At the front office, the owners, I guess, seemed to look down on us and offered very little help. There was also a smell in there that made me not want to stay more than five minutes. They need to let in some fresh air. Only stay here if you have no other option. If I’d paid one day at a time, I would’ve left after the first night.

The pillows were unbelievably flat. I ended up buying two at Walmart and left them there.

The rooms had a strange smell, and I arrived after the bedding had been stripped but not replaced. I was shocked by how filthy the pillows and bed were, especially since I ended up sleeping on them for two days. This place is a health hazard. Spend a few extra bucks somewhere nicer. I wouldn’t recommend it, easily the nastiest motel I’ve stayed in.

After an hour and a half, I left, but management refused to refund me. I’d booked expecting the room to match the advertised pictures, and it didn’t. It smelled strongly of mold and mildew, the sheets were dingy with different stains, dead flies were everywhere, and the walls were stained. The phone was outdated and broken, curtains were caked with mildew and dirt, and the drawers had dirt and bug skeletons. The bathroom was horrific: cups weren’t in their original wrapping, paint was peeling from the tub and ceiling, spiderwebs filled the corners, and the toilet looked like you could catch hep from it. Three days after I’d left and had no reservation, I checked my bank statement and saw they had charged my card again. They refused to do anything about it. Management was rude. I only gave one star because I had to enter something, but I’d score it zero.
