We had a great time visiting and playing games in the large common room, which was nice to have for our group. Matt, Nate, and Nathan were excellent hosts when my friends and I rented several rooms over New Years Weekend 2026. We all enjoyed the place's particular charm, and the food was really great too.

The Long View Lodge is a beautiful gem right on the lake. We spent a long wintery weekend there and ate at the restaurant on NYE and Saturday night. Both meals were amazing, and the cocktails were mixed perfectly. Highly recommend staying here.

Dinner at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The lodgekeeper was friendly and helpful, even getting a fire going in the lounge during our winter stay. The rooms are comfortable with recent renovations, while the lounge still has that old-school lodge feel, moose head included.

We booked at the last minute for the final weekend in October. The room was updated and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. Dinner was fantastic, and even though it was the season's final night, the food was delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming. I'd absolutely recommend The Long View Lodge for a classic Adirondak experience.
