Courtyard by Marriott Boulder Longmont

The room and location were nice, but the desk clerk was sitting on her phone when we checked in. After we left, I noticed a surprise $20 charge. I called and was told it was a precautionary charge. If they’re going to charge me for that, I feel they should tell me before putting it on my card.

My company chose this hotel for our business trip, and it was a great place to stay. The room was roomy and nice, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. There was also a bistro in the hotel where you could get food.

The room layout was one of my favorite things, and everything felt clean. The staff were really nice, too. Clean was the main impression I took away, and I’ll come back to this hotel.

The hot tub didn’t work, the sheets looked unwashed, and there were bugs crawling in the shower. This place is a dump, and the service was terrible. Don’t stay here. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen. I was given coffee in the lobby for a couple of days, then on the third day they insisted I pay $4 for a cup. I politely asked for a basic cup of coffee, and it turned into an unprofessional shouting match with the manager on duty. When I asked for upper management, she said she was the manager. I asked for a regional or company-wide manager, and she repeated that she was the manager. Even the lowest-rated hotels offer free coffee. There’s no accountability, and this place shows everything wrong with corporate hotel chains.
