I really enjoyed my time here. The room was very clean, and the sheets and towels were new. The pillows felt new, too. Breakfast is simple, but I was happy to see it back, and it was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly as always, and it looks like more upgrades may be coming. Great hotel for the price!

The staff were super nice, and I got a clean room for a low price. But the breakfast bar had no water, and all I wanted was a hot shower. The water was cold, and the guy who answered the call seemed bothered by it. Hot water is a basic thing to provide. I booked because of the indoor pool, which was supposed to be heated, but it wasn’t. The TVs aren’t smart TVs, which seems silly, and the cable or dish service kept freezing or getting pixelated. I was heading out on a cross-country trip dirty, which was no fun.

For $62, the room was nice, and Alan at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. There’s a washer and dryer available for doing laundry. The interstate is pretty close, though, and the traffic could keep a light sleeper up all night. Breakfast wasn’t available when we were there, but I’m not especially fond of cheap hotel breakfasts anyway.

I strongly advise looking elsewhere. My room had mold in the bathroom, the TV didn’t work, and its screen said service had been disconnected for non-payment. The cleanliness was far below acceptable, and the place felt unsafe and unsanitary. The reception area was in terrible shape, with soaked carpet. When I asked about it, I was told the upstairs bathroom leaked through the walls. Sure enough, there was mold all over the lobby walls and more under the AC unit. Many staff members apparently live at the hotel. One employee’s children ran through the halls crying and screaming all night. They looked neglected and dirty and smelled strongly of urine, which made the whole environment uncomfortable. The entire experience was extremely unpleasant, and the hotel wasn’t worth the money.
