Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Longmont by IHG

I’m hard to please at hotels, but we loved this stay and the trip. Matt welcomed us as soon as we arrived and was ready to help throughout our visit. The rest of the staff were just as friendly, though Matt happened to be the one around whenever I needed something. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom was great, with Dove soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The warm pool, hot tub, waterslide, and family kiddie pool kept my two kids happy. Breakfast was fresh, clean, appetizing, and awesome. Staff also had good suggestions for places to visit, and there are great places to eat nearby. We liked this hotel enough to become big Holiday Inn Express fans. On the drive home, we spotted another one late in the evening and chose to stay there instead of continuing the drive. That one was just as good and earned our loyalty too. I nit-pick hotels, but this place gets a solid five stars. One small thing: after housekeeping refreshed the room, we kept getting three towels for four people. I needed four, and Matt was happy to bring extras.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful with all our questions, and the room was spotless, modern, and had really comfortable beds. This was a great fit for our family. My kid had a blast on the waterslide and is still talking about it. We felt right at home and will definitely come back. Highly recommend it for families.

The service was stellar, and the location was quiet but within walking distance of a movie theater, restaurants, and shopping. I wanted a low-stress break, and that worked. I booked a room, picked up some herbs that elevate the spirit, and headed out for my Halle-day. After checking in, I decided to elevate before going up to the room. I’m a home free individual and have lived through several traumatic events. I’ve come a long way over the last 18 months, and wanted to show the new love in my life how much I appreciate them. In the rush, I hid the herbs and then couldn’t remember where. The resistance spiked, cortisol dumped, and I roared so loudly that the woman at the desk had to decide whether to let that intense energy stay in the hotel. I wasn’t happy with how I acted, and if she’d asked me to leave my Halle-day, I think I might have melted down in an atomic fashion. I’d regained my composure and was ready to defend my bad behavior, but the woman at the desk seemed to have empathy for my situation. I told her that her choice reflected her character and that God had been working through her. Thanks for the second chance and the relaxation. Halle 🌹

The waterslide was the main reason we chose this hotel, based on the pictures, so it was disappointing that it stayed closed for our entire eight-day visit. The pool and hot tub were working, but the pool area had low circulation and felt a bit stuffy. The kids got sick after spending several days there, though we can’t be sure whether it came from the pool or the travel. Matt at the front desk had great energy and made a strong impression on my family. Breakfast was good and offered variety, though biscuits and gravy were the main course during our extended stay. The rooms were clean, housekeeping staff were friendly, and there were plenty of places to eat, shop, visit a park, get nails done, or see a movie within walking distance.
