We've stayed three times in four weeks. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very clean, and it's a quiet neighborhood with the hospital close by and plenty of restaurants nearby. The price was under $100. A few things need attention: the second-floor ice machine was broken and still hadn't been fixed, so we had to use the first-floor machine. Some guests spilled in the elevator, but staff cleaned it quickly. The AC wasn't working in some rooms, so we had to switch rooms.

I was unsure about booking after earlier experiences, but I'm glad I gave the Best Western in Longview a chance. The room felt fresh and properly cared for, not just sprayed with strong cleaner to cover things up, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was a nice extra, especially the crispy bacon and big, tasty waffle. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through Longview.

After the bad experience at the Best Western in Marshall Tx, this hotel was a relief. Room #104 was very clean and had no bad odor, but the TV didn't work. I called the desk and told Mindy, who said there'd been a bad storm, and she moved us to room #107. The replacement room was nice, though the bed was awful. You could feel the wires even just sitting on it, so I had to move to the middle. I mentioned that it needed a new mattress to the other hostess. Breakfast was okay, but other hotels serve biscuits and gravy on weekends, and these paper plates were the cheapest I've seen. Aside from that, the hotel was really, really nice.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and both the daytime clerk, Jeff, I think, and the older gentleman on the night shift were friendly. Jeff was personable and professional and made us feel welcome. There are no suites or sofa beds, and the rooms are on the small side, but the hotel lived up to the best reviews in the Longview area. We had a very nice stay and got good value. We were there overnight on a busy night. The hotel sits back from a commercial highway, away from the traffic, with restaurants and other services around it. There was enough parking for everyone.

We were on a road trip home and needed a safe, clean, convenient, affordable stop on a tight budget. The reviews were better than other nearby hotels and the price worked for us. The room was spotless and comfortable, staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included. My son especially loved the Texas-shaped waffle. My mom is handicapped, so I worried after our last hotel wasn't suited to her needs. This one met code, with a spotless bathroom and a tub she could use. It's a little off the highway, but well worth it. We were very happy with the price and stay.
