Homewood Suites by Hilton Longview

The room had a stale smell as soon as I walked in, and I want my money back. The elevator stopped six inches short of the first floor and opened there, which felt like a safety hazard. I had to carry my luggage up to the third floor despite having a bad back. I would have gone somewhere else if I could, and sleeping in my car might have been better. I don't recommend this place and will never stay again.

We spent a fun week here and would love to come back. My son and I really liked the room, and staying here was a lovely experience. The staff were so sweet and friendly, and breakfast was amazing.

The bed was comfortable, at least, but the building creaks and groans so much you can hear it all. This hotel feels worn out and breaking down. The fridge in my room didn't work, the shower faucet needs replacing, and the sitting room floor has a big dip. Door edges are mangled, wallpaper is peeling, carpets are stained and worn through, and the chair is unraveling. At check-in, the man told me to park by the second door at the back because it was closest to my room. My key card wouldn't open it, so I trudged back to the desk, where he said that door doesn't work. Then put up a sign, or don't send guests there. In the morning, when I went to check out, the woman at the desk said she'd clocked out already and I'd have to wait. I'm not coming back. Hilton should tear this one down.

Michael was working the front desk on Saturday 10/11, and he deserves a huge thank you. He was professional and caring, and helped me fix my broken phone so I could charge it. I really enjoyed my stay.
