Staybridge Suites Longview by IHG

My wife and I can't really eat out for medical reasons, so having a kitchen area is a big help. Longview is our local Staybridge, and this was our second full date night in 16 years. We had a wonderful stay, with polite staff and a very clean hotel. The room and linens were clean too. The only problems were the appearance of things: cabinet doors weren't aligned and wouldn't close all the way, and the refrigerator wasn't level. I've had to go behind other maintenance workers myself, and this looked like someone rushed and didn't care about the job. All in all, it's a great hotel for a good stay.

For a 3-star place, this may be the best hotel I've visited so far. The location was wonderful, the atmosphere decent, the food wasn't atrocious, and service was fair. My complaints were a rusty bathroom vent and weak shower pressure. I asked them to fix or replace the bathroom tub spout, but had no luck.

We'd definitely stay at the Staybridge Suites again. The place was incredibly clean, with rooms that looked modern and well-kept, and the staff were helpful and kind from check-in through check-out. It's in a perfect spot near a Walmart and lots of great restaurants. There was a faint smell in our room, as if someone had smoked there before, but it wasn't strong enough to bother us or make us switch rooms. A really solid stay!

The location made it easy to walk to shops, food, and drinks, and getting onto the roads for things to do around the city was simple too. I spent five comfortable, restful days here. The room was clean, well equipped for travelers, and stayed quiet even with a large family reunion group filling much of the hotel over the weekend. Staff were welcoming and helpful when I needed them. This was the best hotel I've stayed at in two years of traveling in the US.
