The one good thing was the friendly front desk employee, who moved us promptly after I found a wet, brownish puddle under the comforter in our first room. But the online listing was misleading: we reserved two queen beds and found out they only had double beds. The sink wouldn’t drain, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the AC was only a fan. The room looked older than me, with cigarette burns, stains, and holes in the mattress, comforter, sheets, and carpet. For a cheap room, I know you get what you pay for, but I’ve been more comfortable in a tent. You’d be better off sleeping in your car, which might be cleaner. The place needs a new room cleaner and building maintenance badly. I hope it gets sold and renovated before the building is condemned.

The staff were really nice, but the night was horrible and I regret spending it there. We were driving through during a big dust storm, so I quickly found a cheap option on hotels.com. My husband and I are taller and bigger, so I checked that the room had queen beds. Instead, the first room had double beds, signs of bed bugs, and a puddle of yellowish, slimy goo on one bed. The staff member said no one had stayed in that room for a while. When I reminded her I’d asked for queens, she said they only had doubles, so the listing was falsely advertising larger beds. The entry door was broken, another red flag. The AC was bad and we sweated all night, while the sink and toilet both drained or flushed poorly. We left around 6:20, and there was no free breakfast available then, in case that matters to you.

After a long road trip, we stayed one night, but I was awake all night because the AC was so loud. The room smelled awful and was dirty, the bathroom didn’t work, and the beds weren’t clean. Honestly, sleeping in the car would be much better than staying here.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely stay here again.
