The family keeps the Inn clean and comfortable, and it's a good place to sleep while enjoying the local attractions. It's family owned and operated, and the hospitality is unsurpassed. I was a long-time guest and think it's great. If they have an opening for my next trip, I'll definitely stay there. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Matt and his family are really involved in the community. While I was there, they put on a free spooky trail. I believe around 500 people came, and from all the screams, it sounded like a hit! I highly recommend this place.

The Inn is a real gem, with a little garden by the entrance, a living room for reading, a library, pool table, and dining area overlooking the canyon. It's a 10 minute drive into town, and seems perfect for couples or families after a day out exploring. I was traveling alone for two nights in March 2025. The trip couldn't have gone better: I toured Los Alamos and did two adventurous canyon hikes. On arrival, owner Matt noticed my car wheel was very low on air and used his compressor to fix it, then headed off to coach his daughter's Jai-alai. The next morning, Matt and his wife told me that construction crews had accidentally cut a Wifi cable in Los Alamos, taking out Wifi across town for the day. Since who drives without GPS now, Matt found me a map so I could get into town for my tour.

We used the Pueblo Canyon Inn as our base for visiting Los Alamos and Bandelier, and stayed two nights. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was convenient and had a variety of options. I'd recommend the Inn 110%.

Bayo Canyon hiking trails are just a half mile walk down the road, with gorgeous views and a loop of roughly five miles that you can do without getting in the car. The Inn is a quiet bed and breakfast about 3-4 miles from “downtown” Los Alamos, a fantastic place for a couple. Matt and his family live onsite and offer excellent, discreet service. Matt is personable and was easy to work with for arrangements, directions, and restaurant advice. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean and the beds are very comfortable. The shower was great, with plenty of hot water. Matt puts out a basic continental breakfast, and if you're up for it, you can fry fresh eggs from his chickens in the small, well stocked kitchen. There are also several sitting rooms and libraries if you want to spend time outside your bedroom. Highly recommended!
