24 Hours Motel

I had a good time here, and it’s good value for the money. The rooms have a few imperfections, but they’re furnished well and feel welcoming.

For the price, the rooms are okay. Mine was pretty dirty, and the toilet was unusable when I arrived. I was glad I brought my own bedding because theirs had a strong cologne or perfume smell that didn’t seem like the rest of the laundry. I’d guess the comforters aren’t washed very often. The room also smelled strongly of urine and air freshener. The door was janky and needed some pushing and pulling to line it up before the key would turn. The A/C and heat worked well, and so did the fridge. There was always someone at the front desk, and they were helpful, though sometimes a bit annoyed. I’d read reviews saying the area was really bad, but I liked it. There’s good Mexican food nearby and public transport access. If you’ve lived in a big city before, you’ll be fine.

After a 13-hour flight, this was an affordable, easy place to stay. The motel is right across from the subway station, so getting there from LAX was simple, and they checked us in even though we arrived early. My partner and I had what we needed: microwave, refrigerator, towels, coffee machine, and free snacks. The bathroom was clean, as shown in the pictures, unlike some other comments. Maybe it’s been renovated? The A/C worked well, and the king bed was soft. The sofa bed was firmer, which worked for different preferences. The owner wasn’t the most “friendly,” as others have complained, but they took care of what we needed, and we were there for the room, not a smile lol. Only thing we missed was a kettle, so we couldn’t boil water. Still, we really enjoyed staying here.

We stayed here both after arriving at LAX and before leaving. The rooms were very clean both times and good for the price, and the team was friendly, especially helping with check-in and checkout in the middle of the night. Parking spots are a little small, but there are spaces available. When we reported a small water issue, they fixed it within five minutes. I’d definitely stay again.
