Best Western Burbank Airport Inn

The first room smelled awful, like an old man and body odor. The front desk guy was accommodating when I asked to move, but the customer service still left something to be desired. I use Best Western often for work and usually like the chain, but I won't return to this one.

We came back from breakfast having made fresh waffles, with hard-boiled eggs, ham omelets, DIY oat cereal, juice, and coffee also available. I'd put that at about $20 per person in value. The bed was comfortable, the room extremely clean thanks to housekeeping, and I slept through the night. The young man at the desk was very polite, and check-in and checkout were easy. The property looks dated, but for a 2-star hotel this one deserves five stars in its class. We stayed in room 302 on 05/02/2026, after choosing it for one night near the airport. The rental car return was less than 10 minutes away. Our street-facing room had noise until about 10pm, including a big party at the entrance. I told the front desk and the drum stopped. The area next door seems industrial and isn't somewhere to walk around, but parking under the rooms on the ground floor, past the front office, felt safe. For a quieter night, ask for a room facing away from the street. My brother-in-law's room at the back was quiet. I would stay again if I had business in northern LA. I usually use 3-star Best Western Plus hotels as my standard, and this motel was a one-night stay with my wife.

The convenient location and free parking were real pluses, but the room needs work. Its old AC unit was extremely loud, and there was a lingering stale smell, possibly from filters that need cleaning or replacing. Handy for the location, though room maintenance needs serious attention.

The staff were kind, and the price was affordable for a place with dated rooms. Free breakfast was a nice extra. My bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and light came through the blinds. My room faced the street, where several loud cars passed, which made it hard to sleep.
