Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza

The room was gorgeous and HUGE, way bigger than I expected when I opened the door. The cleaning staff were really polite, and the front desk team managed to be both professional and sweet. They gave me complimentary early check-in and late checkout because I’m a rewards member and it was a quieter time. This was my first trip to LA, and I’m so glad I picked this hotel. They really focus on customer service and making your stay a good one. One staff member even lent me a permanent marker so I could take it to get an autograph when I was meeting a celebrity at a nearby VIP event. I’d highly recommend it for a nice, pampered stay in LA.

The food was delicious, and everything on the wedding day went perfectly. Marvin stayed attentive and made sure every detail was handled, often anticipating what was needed. My clients were impressed with how smoothly it all came together, and his help made my work much easier. As a professional wedding planner, I’ve worked at many venues, but Marvin and the entire Omni Hotel team set a new standard. From arrival, the valet staff were friendly and accommodating and made a great first impression. Marvin went above and beyond throughout planning, replying promptly and even answering my questions on his days off. I’m so happy with the experience and will enthusiastically recommend Omni Hotel for my future clients’ weddings. Marvin, you’re the best!

The Club level was worth booking for our six days. We had breakfast every day, unlimited drinks, and evening hors d'oeuvre with alcohol service, which saved money and made the stay more comfortable. The kids could help themselves to snacks and juice anytime, and we could eat before starting the day. Laura made them a special mocktail each evening, which they thought was the coolest thing. She went above and beyond and was lovely. We were two adults and two kids, ages 9 and 11, visiting in mid January for my husband’s milestone birthday. I chose OMNI Los Angeles after a lot of research, and the staff made it special for all of us, with kids’ gift bags at check-in and a nice surprise in the room for my husband. The location was perfect, with restaurants and venues within walking distance. We used the complimentary car service within a 3 mile radius almost every day. Robin from the car/valet service gave us lots of great suggestions. The property had a beautiful entry and foyer, a heated pool, and Peloton bikes, which I appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We felt at home, and next time we visit LA, we’ll stay here and do it the same way. Thank you OMNI LA for making the birthday trip so memorable for all of us.

Coming back to a fresh, roomy, comfortable room after being out in the city was a real treat. The location worked well for us, too. The staff were warm, polite, and quick to help from the start, and the room was in great shape with excellent housekeeping. I had a very positive stay at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza and would happily recommend it.
