The past 2 years have been a nightmare, even though I keep coming back. I’ve been here the last 4 days and haven’t gotten room service or even a washcloth once. I’m homeless, and now I’m dealing with an overpriced room with bugs. The owner charges me $140 for a room that’s worth at most $80. When his wife was working, she’d charge me much less. Then, when I think things are improving, he comes and talks to her in her Arabic language for Indian whatever they are, and tells her to charge me more than everyone else. The owner is really unprofessional. I’d rather go to El Pollo loco and pitch a tent. I used to love coming here, and I don’t know why I keep returning. I don’t recommend this place. It needs to catch up with modern times. Whatever you do, please don’t come.

The owners have been kind and thoughtful with me. There were days I didn’t have all the cash, and they worked with me. One night she even held my room until 11pm while I tried to come up with the rest. The rooms are generally clean, and what I like most is that there are no bugs. For me, that makes it perfect. The rate is reasonable, about $100 a night and more on weekends. All in all, it’s not a bad place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Our room looked recently remodeled, and quite a few others were being worked on during our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and when our TV stopped working they quickly replaced it with a new one. It’s a nice motel in a great spot, just minutes from the NoHo arts district, Burbank, and Glendale.

I paid $120 when I checked in early at 8 am, took a shower, and left. I didn’t make a mess or even wrinkle the bed. When I came back after work, my key didn’t work. The attendant said checkout was at 11am, then offered to rent me the room again for one night for $50. The guy who checked me in hadn’t mentioned checkout, and there were no signs posted. She just said I should know better. She wouldn’t refund even part of my money, and said it wasn’t possible to speak with the manager. I paid $120 for a 30 minute shower. Terrible customer service. I’ll never rent from these people again. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, you’ll be RIPPED OFF.
