Fairmont Century Plaza Los Angeles at Beverly Hills

After a very long overseas flight, I was able to get into my room right away, even though I had arrived quite early. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and quiet. The reception staff were very professional, and the team at the Fairmont Gold lounge were especially helpful.

I was at an event here, not staying overnight, and the staff made the experience really pleasant. Their professionalism was a 10 plus. I noticed they didn't pressure anyone for tips. They seemed more focused on making things so enjoyable that you'd want to do something in return. I can't wait to get the full treatment one day.

Our room was nicely furnished, with a good layout and beautiful bathroom finishes. The warm stone and cool-toned fixtures worked perfectly, and I'm glad they didn't use gold or bronze. It was also dog friendly, and the location was great for our meetings. The clear toilet door was soooo silly, though. There were some frustrating snags. We arrived at 4pm, but the room wasn't ready. I spent nearly 20 minutes on the badly formatted online check-in form, then the front desk had no record of it. Staff seemed confused and unorganized, and weren't friendly, so it wasn't a nice welcome. The room service menu was hard to find online, buried through several layers of the services website. The choices were limited, with no customization. We eventually waited on the line to speak to someone and easily placed a simple omelette and coffee order. There has to be an easier way. The bellhop said there was no self-parking, but later we saw a large self-park garage attached to the building. All things considered, we'd stay again, but wouldn't use online check-in or the online room service menu.

Ashley and Nancy kept every part of my stay on track, from room details and extensions to services and logistics. I had a very heavy workload during the trip, but they checked in proactively, made sure things were running smoothly, and were right there whenever I needed anything. Their warmth, attention, and professionalism made a real difference. It was a pleasure having Ashley and Nancy as the first and last faces I saw at the Century Plaza. Thanks to both of you for making the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.
