The breakfast was amazing, with loads to choose from: pancakes, bagels, cereal, toast, cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, hash browns, muffins, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Marieta and Veronica were caring and friendly while serving, and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful too. Front desk service was great, and the valet was quick and polite. Our room was clean and nice, with a comfortable bed, good shower pressure, a great bathroom, plus a couch, table, fridge, and coffee machine. We didn’t use the pool; it looked small but clean, and people were swimming. The location was convenient, though getting into and out of the garage was tricky with the busy road. We had a great experience.

Marieta and Elsie were wonderful servers in the breakfast room, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s no microwave in the room, and the hotel doesn’t have a 24-hour water refill station, though you can fill up during breakfast. Parking costs $49 a night. The location is great for the Walk of Fame and Griffith Observatory, near the Hollywood sign.

The cold pool and broken laundry room were disappointing. The website said the pool was warmed, but my kids found it freezing, and the front desk said it was out of order. After rain, we needed the dryer and found a large sign saying the laundry was out of service too. Still, our family of six had a good time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was decent with plenty of choices, and my boys liked the automatic pancake maker. Marieta and Elsie were especially kind and helpful in the dining area. I’d stay again, though I’d call ahead to check whether the amenities are working.

We stayed five nights and our room was never serviced. I asked at the front desk twice, and asked the housekeeper directly a couple of times too, including once when she was right next door. Nothing changed. We kept having to go to the lobby for towels, and the coffee wasn’t replenished after the first night. The location is good and the breakfast setup is excellent. Mandatory valet parking isn’t great, though the attendants themselves were excellent. If you stay here, don’t expect anyone to attend to your room. At that point, why not book a short term rental?
