Hyde Park

Reviews about bugs and dirt had me worried after I booked, but I decided to see for myself. The rooms looked remodeled, and everything seemed very new when I arrived. I checked each room and didn’t see any cockroaches or anything especially unclean. The staff were friendly, and we had no problems during our stay. Maybe we just got lucky with our room, or perhaps the motel has remodeled all of them.

I stay here on every Los Angeles business trip. It’s the best motel in the city, only 10-15 from the airport. The renovated rooms are new, big, very clean, and match the pictures. The bed is comfortable and I sleep well. Staff are super friendly and ready to help. There’s new management, free parking on the property, and good wifi. Great experience all around.

The one kind part of the visit was the man in the "office," who was helpful and very kind. The manager was nice too. But the room was awful and smelled like cigarettes, and people were selling clothes out of a car trunk in the parking lot. The curtains looked ready to fall off the wall. They also charged a $5 key deposit. My mom had come from Mexico, and her plane ticket included the hotel, but after seeing the room I took her home. I wish I could give zero stars.

I’ve stayed at this motel several times and recommend it if you need a night somewhere convenient, quiet, and clean. It’s probably the best motel in South Central LA. The rooms are extremely clean, with fresh white linen, clean floors and restrooms, and no bed bugs, roaches, or other pests. The housekeeper keeps everything in good shape. It’s very quiet, and the beds are comfortable, so you can get good rest. Staff are respectful, helpful, and friendly, and do their best to accommodate you. Room rates are good. Give them a try ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
