La Casa Motel Burbank Airport - LA

It’s a decent budget option, and someone was there when I checked in around midnight. I was told checkout was at 10:00 am, though it would’ve been nice to get an extra hour after arriving so late. The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were basically nonexistent. Trains blew their horns about every 30 minutes, and I could hear planes going over every 15 minutes or so. Those were the main downsides.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was handy for major attractions, though still quiet enough to relax. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, with a modern look that felt cozy and stylish. I’d highly recommend it if you want an easy, pleasant stay.

I hadn’t stayed here for a few years, though I used to come before the remodel. Last night was a pleasant return. The room has been completely redone and feels modern and minimalist, with lots of light, a big bathroom and a nicely sized HD TV. Check-in was quick and easy. Checkout at 10 am is my one complaint, but leaving was painless and I got my deposit back in full. I had a wonderful stay and will be back.

The service from both people was terrible. The front desk woman wasn’t nice, and when I asked about WiFi, she didn’t seem to notice that it had a different name. I wasn’t given a remote for the A/C or any cable TV. At checkout, the older guy just tossed my license back to me and turned around.
