L.A. Sky Boutique Hotel

This is a cheap place to stay and a handy base for driving around West LA, including Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood, Century City, and UCLA. The room itself was pretty blah, with thin walls, and the floor was uneven enough that I felt dizzy walking across it. When it rains, the upstairs area gets slippery. I wouldn't walk around outside at night: Westwood Blvd feels dangerous since the stores closed, and there are homeless people sleeping nearby. Still, the price and location are hard to beat.

After our events and classes, our AzziArt Gallery LA students, art collectors, and art residents got together at the beautiful Sky Hotel to relax and celebrate. It was lovely to see new friendships form and conversation keep going in such a warm, uplifting atmosphere. The creativity stayed with us even after the brushes were put down. Our community keeps shining beyond the gallery walls, and moments like these remind me art is also about the experiences we share. Thank you! AzziArt Gallery LA, Westwood Blvd.

I found it elegant and very quiet, a relaxing place to stay. But, as plenty of other people have mentioned, they don't return your security deposit.

Scott at the front desk was the sweetest. He got us checked in and made sure we had what we needed, and even suggested where to park if we wanted to avoid the $20 fee for the lot out back. The rooms are really cute and just right for a hotel stay, and the bathrooms were clean, nice, and stocked with towels. My favorite part was the gorgeous indoor patio in the center of the rooms. I'd definitely consider staying here again!
